Processing plastics has a very long tradition in Motzen. Production began allready in the twenties. Injection Molding and the technical modifications were maintained and developed throughout the decades. More than 1000 different products for a number of industrials purposes have been produced. Until 1980 processing in Motzen was concentrated in thermoplastics, using machines form 30 t up to 160 t. In 1980 decisions were taken to change the profile of the production, starting to process elastomeres with injection molding.
Today the "Motzener Kunststoff- und Gummiverarbeitung" is a company under private management. Due to the long term experience of the staff with a big variety of thermoplastics and elastomeres and short cycles of innovation, the company achieved to develop a new base for the continuity of plastics processing during the period of political and economical change. |
